Utilizing the flipped classroom model of teaching, your child will explore:

      • The importance of food quality and how to keep the gut healthy
  • Common conditions, why they happen, and how to treat them

    • Digestive conditions
    • Respiratory and skin conditions
  • Learn how to balance the key elements of health:

    • Nutrition
      • Real versus processed food; organic vs nonorganic; GMO vs non-GMO
      • Macro and micronutrients
      • How to prepare food
    • Sleep health
      • Sleep hygiene: blue-light, room temp, technology
      • Sleep timing and quantity
    • Movement
      • Mild, moderate, and high-intensity
      • Internal (qi gong, tai chi) and external martial arts
    • Mental-emotional health
      • Mindfulness and intention
      • The importance of joy and having community
      • How to deal with difficult conversations

    You may drop your child off for 1, 2 or all 3 hours

I am a mom of an 11-year old girl and an 8-year old boy, a holistic practitioner integrating Functional medicine with Chinese medicine, a NYS Licensed Acupuncturist, a Nationally Certified Herbalist, a Functional Health Coach, a Tournesol Kids Coach, and a martial arts instructor.

The content of the Elements of Health program is a culmination of all of the above, with emphasis on providing kids with the knowledge, cognitive and behavioral skills to be their best selves!
