Youth Tai Chi

Taiji (Tai Chi) is one of the healthiest tools someone can have in their life! It not only provides the practitioner with a stretching and movement system that can keep them healthy and fit, but it also helps keep the mind balanced, and provides the confidence and skills necessary to deal with other people’s energy.

The youth taiji class will start with a stretch routine commonly performed in internal martial arts classes, followed by qi gong postures that challenge the mind and body. The remainder of the class will teach functional movements based on physics, body mechanics, and how to receive another person’s energy with a calm and controlled mind.
